The name is a tribute to a cat named Teco who was part of the designer's family. It also acknowledges the NGOs Ecopatas, that helps stray animals, and Tampinhas que Curam, that helps kids going through Chemotherapy. Both NGOs collect recyclable plastic as part of their mission. Just like Teco, the material used to create these stools came from the streets before finding a new purpose and a place in our hearts.
