About Us

From an early age, Rafael Oliva learned to work with carpentry tools and love the craft. This love stemmed from his grandfather, a carpenter from Italy, who taught him the art of woodworking.

He later graduated in product design from FAAP, then attended the University of Plymouth in England, and worked in various design fields. He joined the design team at Philips and the Campana Brothers' studio and institute.

At the Campana Institute, he was able to develop his creativity not only by designing furniture but also by teaching crafts to children and teenagers living in the Moinho community, located in downtown São Paulo.

In 2019, he launched LABMOBILI with his managing partner Marcelo Germano, where he brought his signature creations to life.
