Each finish reveals the stone in its own way, creating different perceptions of sheen, texture, and natural character.

Flamed

A process using fire and water with high abrasion, melting the smaller crystals and resulting in a rougher, more rustic surface.​

​

Polished

A step-by-step sanding process, starting with a coarser grit and gradually moving to finer abrasives, creating the characteristic shine. Resin is applied to strengthen the stone, seal microfissures, and bring out its natural color. The stone then goes through an automatic polishing machine, with five additional sanding processes to achieve the best possible result.

Brushed

The same sanding process used for the polished finish, but with brushes, creating a more textured surface that is slightly matte and not overly rough.

​

Honed

A finish achieved using both a more abrasive and a finer grit. However, as the stone does not go through as many sanding processes, it retains a more matte appearance.

CARE

Every natural stone is unique. Its porosity and absorption vary depending on the material, batch, and finish.

​

It is important to take care with liquids and abrasive materials, as well as to remove any substance that comes into contact with the stone as quickly as possible, preferably using water, mild detergent, and a soft, clean cloth.

​

For an additional layer of protection, we recommend sealing the stone (available separately). However, it is important to note that sealing helps protect the stone but does not eliminate its natural porosity.
